Aaron Guest House is a delightful property, very quietly situated, yet only a seven minute walk from the city centre. Aaron House is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside and there are a wide variety of attractions to suit all the family within easy reach.

We pride ourselves on the high standard of accommodation that we provide and have been awarded a Three Diamond rating by The English Tourism Council. However long you spend with us here at Aaron Guest House we are sure that you will want to return time and again.

York is a magnificent city, steeped in history and with a wealth of interesting places within its Roman walls or around Yorkshire itself. You may wish to visit the famous Minster that dominates York's skyline, which is the largest cathedral in Northern Europe. The Minster is only a five-minute walk from our guesthouse and is only one of the many things to see.

Other attractions include the Yorkshire Museum and gardens, York dungeon, Merchant Adventurer's Hall, Jorvik Viking Centre, the Shambles, National Railway Museum, York Castle Museum, the alleys and snickleways of the city centre and countless interesting shops. If you wish to travel further afield then you may find fishing towns like Whitby and the East Coast of interest.
